Tommy Boyd
Tommy is a much loved English radio & TV broadcaster, and gained fame in 1977 taking over from Douglas Rae as the new presenter on the ITV children's magazine programme; Magpie. Since then, he has presented many TV and radio shows for ITV, BBC, LBC, TalkSport and for a variety of radio stations as a chat show host. He is a lifelong supporter of Portsmouth FC, and in late 2021, he was instrumental in launching a new Internet radio station, especially for the fans of Portsmouth - known as Pompey Sound. More recently, he teamed up with Arsenal fan, James Henry House with whom he co-hosts the monthly Pomp & Guns Podcast, which can be heard on all major Podcasting platforms. He is also the main continuity announcer on the station. |
